UNUSUAL AMETHYST AND RED DRUZE FORMATION WITH STALACTITES

Colours fuse together in this uniquely beautiful piece, presenting the viewer with purple amethyst mixed with red-orange druze, creating a lovely combination. The mineral sculpture itself is further embellished by multiple stalactite formations, and gives the sensation of movement due to its wavy shape. The edges have been polished, revelling a vibrant combination of green celadonite, red-orange jasper and white quartz that frames the amethyst, enhancing and intensifying the beautiful colour of the piece. The back of the piece maintains its rough basalt condition allowing us to imagine how it was spotted and formed inside the cavities of volcanic rock, millions of years ago. This stunning piece is very decorative and is mounted on a custom metal stand.
